Happy Halloween! Here are some Halloween pet tips from our sponsor, CanaCreek Vets Pet Meds & Supplies:
It’s that time of year again where ghosts, goblins and ghouls visit us for an evening of fun and treats. It’s only natural that we include our four legged friends in ouractivities. This is definitely no different with our family and staff here at Canacreek. Have fun but keep in mind these tips to make sure our best buddies stay safe while enjoying the spooky festivities.
Make sure your pet is secure: with a lot of unfamiliar little people moving in and out of the house, it’s very easy for Buddy to get loose. Indoor pets can be momentarily distracted and slip outside. No one wants to spend an evening looking for their scared pet all over the neighborhood; Halloween or not. Whether your pet is an outdoor or indoor pet, it’s a good idea to bring your pets inside your home, in an area away from all the strange lights and noises from trick-or-treaters, door bells, and fireworks. Keep your pets in a comfy room in your home where they are most at ease, and relaxed. This makes it easier for them and for you. Sometimes Fido and Felix don’t do well with a lot of strangers around, let alone strangers in costumes. (more…)
